Michael T. Megaw, for the appellant.

D. Murray Brown, Q.C., for the respondent.

The judgment of the Court was delivered orally by

1                                   Iacobucci J. –  This appeal comes to us as of right.  We are all of the view to dismiss the appeal against conviction for substantially the reasons of the majority in the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.

2                                   On the application for leave to appeal sentence, we are all of the view that the courts below addressed the relevant guiding principles and consequently the leave application raises no issue of general importance that warrants our granting leave.

3                                   The appeal is dismissed.
